TT Correspondent | 02 Aug 2013In line with its promise to drive 3G usage in the country, the telecom giant Vodafone Indiaon Thursday launched high speed 14.4 mbps 3G dongle - K3800 with live webchat support.

The 3G USB Dongle with data transfer speed up to 14.4 Mbps has a price tag of Rs INR 1750.
The company is betting on the demand for high speed data services. According to a recent report India is at 144th spot globally in terms of internet speed.
Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India said, “The launch of Vodafone K3800 3G dongle is well timed to meet the demand for high speed mobile data services. High speed of up to 14.4Mbps, affordable price and live webchat for support, will make high speed mobile internet accessible to a wider audience base.”
The K3800 3G provides direct access to Live Web Chat support for the users which the company claims is a first of its kind feature for any dongle.
Vodafone K3800 3G dongle provides a choice of multiple customised data plans to suit individual needs. It is available at key Vodafone retail stores and comes in three colours, viz Black, Red and Dual Tone White & Red.
Other features include high Speed up to 14.4 Mbps data transfer which is ideal for viewing videos and expandable storage up to 32GB and phone Book functionality
Last week, to give a fillip to 3G adoption on increasing number of smartphones in the country, Vodafone launched 3G internet initiative Be Smart’ Mobile for its Mumbai subscribers.
