On Tuesday, Huawei''s sub-brand Honor launched the Honor 10 Lite with its home-grown Kirin 710 processor and a dewnotch display in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999.
The smartphone would be available in a configuration of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM +64GB storage for Rs 17,999 in sapphire blue, sky blue and midnight black colours only on Flipkart.
"Following our devotion in photography and design in the Lite series the Honor 10 Lite also sports a range of high-end features," Suhail Tariq, Chief Marketing Officer, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said in a statement.
On Monday, Samsung India said it will launch the Galaxy 'M' series on January 28 that will be available on Amazon.in from March 5.
India will be the first country to launch the new series smartphones, the company said in a statement.
The 'M' series will also be available on Samsung's online store.
The new range comes with powerful display, camera, battery and a processor -- helping the devices deliver power-packed performance for millennials.

On Thursday, Vietnamese smartphone brand Mobiistar launched "X1 Notch" with a 13MP selfie camera for a starting price of Rs 8,499 in India.
The device will be available in two variants - 2GB RAM+16GB ROM and 3GB RAM+32GB ROM for Rs 8,499 and Rs 9,499 respectively.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is celebrating its fifth year in India as part of which the company has dropped prices of its Mi A2 smartphone having 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
The handset maker on Monday said that the two variants of the Mi A2 smartphone will see price drop of Rs 2000 and Rs 3000 and will be available at Rs 13999 (4GB+64GB) and Rs 15999 (6GB+128GB).

Finnish company HMD Global, which sells Nokia-branded smartphones, on Thursday refreshed its feature phone segment with Nokia 106 for Rs 1,299 in India.

On Monday, China-based handset maker Realme said it would partner with 20,000 retail outlets in India to expand its offline sales to 150 cities in 2019.
The offline retailers will be known as "REAL Partners" and will give a value addition to customer experience, Realme said, adding that the retail outlets will have all the models that the smartphone brand has launched.

According to regulatory disclosures, Oppo and Vivo posted a combined loss of Rs 1,225 crore in the first six months of the current financial year even as both companies, owned by China’s BBK Group, increased sales by 20% from a year earlier.
