NETGEAR launches 3G USB Modems/Dongles for PC & MAC in India

NETGEAR, a global networking company that delivers innovative products to consumers, businesses and service providers, has announced its foray into devices to access 3G and 4G networks and launched 3G USB modems/dongles in the Indian market.

These products will be available through NETGEAR resellers by the end of January. AC327U USB 3G Modem 7.2Mbps has a price tag of Rs 1590 while AC329U USB 3G Modem 21.6Mbps is priced at Rs 2500.

The USB Dongles which are part of the NETGEAR Aircard range of products are attractively designed candy coloured 3G access devices which are unlocked and compatible with SIM of all compliant 3G service providers. The 3G USB Dongles will provide easy plug and play connection to access 3G in two high speed modes, 7.2Mbps and 21.6 Mbps. It will also double as USB storage and supports upto 32GB MicroSD Memory card (not included).

The product also comes with NETGEAR Aircard Mobile Broadband Genie which provides easy device management through a user friendly interface to connect, monitor and control the device.
