TT Correspondent | 07 Jan 2019Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is celebrating its fifth year in India as part of which the company has dropped prices of its Mi A2 smartphone having 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
The handset maker on Monday said that the two variants of the Mi A2 smartphone will see price drop of Rs 2000 and Rs 3000 and will be available at Rs 13999 (4GB+64GB) and Rs 15999 (6GB+128GB).
“Xiaomi has grown to achieve the number 1 position for five quarters in a row (IDC Quarterly report, Q3 2017 to Q3 2018). And we are thankful to our Mi Fans and customers for all the love and trust they have given us,” the company said in a statement.
The smartphone at the discounted prices can be availed from today 12pm onwards across all Xiaomi’s sales platforms.
The company said that it will reveal one surprise each day of the week, with Mi A2 price drop being the first surprise.
