Reliance Ind to invest Rs 3000 crore in Odisha mostly towards expanding Jio network

Mukesh Ambani, chairman of RIL has committed to invest Rs 3000 crore in the state of Odisha, which is in addition to the Rs 6000 crore already invested previously.

The company will invest this sum over a period of three years in various businesses in Odisha, however most of the investments will be focused towards creating Jio network.

“For Reliance, Jio is not just another business. Jio has connected all cities and towns, and 43 thousand villages in Odisha,” Mukesh Ambani said.

“Our aim is to take the power of Digital Life to every nook and corner of the state, particularly in rural Odisha,” he added.
