Review--Fly-F-350
Design:
Fly’s new launch “F 350” is a compact and powerful Dual Sim smartphone. In this price range, it has plenty to offer more than its competitors. The design is basic and simple to operate. The dimensions of this device are 118.2mm, 62mm and 12 mm in height, width and depth. Its 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen is not responsive at times, and makes problem while typing or scrolling. The phone is all in plastic body material, which feels good and is well textured too. On the right side of this device is a power/lock key but lacks with a dedicated camera key. The left side hold the dedicated volume control key whereas, the 3.5mm earjack is placed on its top. The bottom is kept for USB/charging port with mouthpiece. Above the screen of F 350 is an earpiece VGA front camera with proximity sensor and below the screen are Android keys, Home, Back and Menu capacitive keys. On the back side is a 2 Megapixels camera lens and loudspeaker. It weights 115.5 gm. The Fly F 350 is a strong build phone that fits best in your hand.
Interface/OS:
The Fly F 350 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The gingerbread operating system suits this phone well and the spontaneous Touch Wiz interface works great and is easy to access. It has 1 GHz processor which is full justice to this device.
Battery:
Fly F 350 comes with a standard Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery, which gives better results and is long lasting in this category. When tested, it delivered stand by of up to 350 hours. The Talk Time it delivered was up to 5 hours. With the average smartphone usage it easily works for almost two days.
Memory:
Fly F 350 comes with good pocket size in term of its memory. It comes with 4 GB memory card and inbuilt 235 MB memory space which can be expanded to 32 GB using a micro SD card space. It has a powerful 1 GHz processor. The micro SD card space is under the back cover of the phone.
Camera:
This is probably the weak section of F 350. You get a 2 megapixels camera with 2X digital zoom and support various shot mode, photo effects and white balance. It lacks with auto focus and LED flash too. But, the good part of this device is its front camera. It comes with a VGA front facing camera for video lovers. We were expecting a minimum of 3.2 megapixels camera for this device and there is no dedicated camera key as well. But, the image quality from this camera is good but with proper lighting and good hand.
Features:
Fly F 350 in this price range offers multiple features and access to various applications. It comes in-built with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. It comes with pre installed application Saavn and LIVE TV with 1 year subscription. which gives you access to stay in touch with multiple features like multimedia content sharing, group chats and animated images. FM stereo exist in F 350 that updates you with latest news and many FM stations. The gingerbread operating system suits this phone the best and the spontaneous Touch Wiz interface works great and is easy to access. The screen resolution is low and it has no adobe flash support. The phone comes with 2 megapixels camera and VGA front camera but, that cannot be complained in this price range. For connectivity it has a Bluetooth BT 3.0 HS, USB for mass storage and PC connection, Android Internet HTML Browser and Wi-Fi. It comes with a mobile tracker too and all basic features like; calendar, organizer, calculator, etc. all are in-built. Overall, the phone is worth money but lacks with few advancements that could have made it the best in this price range.
Conclusion:
The Fly F 350 is a compact yet powerful phone. It comes with good features and the body is good too. Its Android 2.3 gingerbread is well supported in this device and the 1 GHz processor is strong too. But, it lacks with its RAM and capacitive screen type that adds to some difficulties in terms of functioning.
